The weather was cool and crisp – perfect for a parade Thursday evening – as locals gathered along Main Street to watch Pierce County High School’s annual homecoming parade. A short affair this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, parade participants were limited to entries from the high school and no one tossed candy along the route, but parade watchers still gathered to smile and wave to the homecoming beauties, strapping athletes and smart-stepping marching band.
During halftime of the Bears’ football game against ECLA, Josie-Tatum Mattox was named the 2020 Homecoming Queen.
