North and South Birmingham Avenues and part of Gardenia Drive in Offerman will be resurfaced as part of a Local Maintenance Improvement Grant (LMIG) the city will receive from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

The City of Offerman is currently accepting bids for the project from now through September 30. A public notice is included in this week’s edition of The Times.

The project consists of resurfacing and striping approximately one mile of roadway.

LMIG funds are provided by GDOT to assist local governments with road maintenance projects.
